Hands down the biggest advantage this IP 335 has over the IP 331 is the RJ-9 headset port. When you price out a IP 331 and a barrel 2.5mm to RJ-9 adapter it ends up at about the same price as a IP 335. Plus, those barrel adapters may not offer the same sound quality as just going straight RJ-9. The other feature differences are nice-to-haves but I think most customers are not going to pay more for them. On a low end IP Phone customers are looking for very basic features with high quality audio. In the end, the phone is only as good as the system it is connected to. The IP 331 has been a big seller to customers of Interactive Intelligence. We're predicting a swing to the IP 335 because of the RJ-9 port.

Here at Vintalk we recommend Polycom whenever possible. Anyone familiar with Polycom knows how reliable their phones are and how amazing the sound quality is. Polycom's HD Voice, using the G.722 Codec, is second to none.
